Siemens
Charlotte currently produces and repairs Generators and Steam Turbines
for nuclear and steam power plants. We employ 780 workers at our
550,000-square-foot Charlotte manufacturing facility, an operation
that has been in place for 40 years. Siemens Charlotte is completing
a $135M expansion to our Westinghouse Rd facility, creating over
800 jobs in the next 5 years. This will more than double the size
of Siemens in Charlotte-already the company’s largest installation
in the U.S. We are expanding our operations to include a 400,000
square foot plant that will house North American operations for
producing and repairing gas turbines. The new jobs in Charlotte
will include engineering and manufacturing positions. If you are
